WE ARE CURRENTLY AT CAPACITY FOR CLIENTS REQUIRING ONGOING MAINTENANCE. WE CAN STILL PROVIDE ONE-OFF CLEAN UPS AND SMALL PROJECTS.
Are you finding it hard to keep up in the garden? Not enjoying your outdoor space? Wouldn't it be nice if someone else did the dirty work? Pruning, weeding, mulching, clipping, deadheading and generally fussing over your gardens. I treat each garden with as much care as I treat my own.
We offer a small, hardworking team available for ongoing maintenance, or one time clean-up visits.
Every garden is so unique and everyone has their own vision for theirs. It's important for me to visit your garden with you and learn what you have in mind. The initial meeting usually takes about 15 minutes and there is no charge.
Jennifer has been playing in the dirt a long time. She completed a Diploma in Horticulture (with Distinction) from the University of Guelph and is currently a Master Gardener with the Grey County Master Gardeners. Jennifer is from Mississauga but spent 10 years in Guelph and relocated to Owen Sound in 2019 to be closer to the outdoor activities on the Bruce Peninsula. Also a Registered Veterinary Technician, Jennifer generally enjoys caring for living things. She is a yoga enthusiast and enjoys spending time in her own gardens with her 3 bearded collies.
After becoming involved with the Master Gardeners, Jennifer gained a new appreciation for the value of eco-responsible gardening and the importance of working with native plant species. This philosophy colours her approach to gardening in terms of plant selection, avoidance (and encouraging removal of) known or likely invasive species, clean-up techniques, and involvement with local environmental groups such as Pollinate Owen Sound.
Do You Also Have a Farm?
The short answer is... kind of. I would LOVE to have more space to grow and play, but it is not in the budget. What I do have is a small greenhouse and nursery area located near McCullough Lake that is not open to the public. I specialize in starting primarily native perennial species with small quantities available for sale. Please email me if you have questions about purchasing plants.
